August Report: The Latest News and Updates

We are excited to welcome the girls back from break and to continue programming as they finish up their second school term. The Keyang Tipin Foundation team wants to highlight two of our students who will be completing the 12th grade in November. This is the first of many cohorts of girls we hope to support in completing high school through our Keep Girls in School Program.

We have a myriad of programs planned for this semester including menstrual health, child rights and anti-FGM trainings. We are also planning workshops to prepare the students for life beyond school.

Thanks to your support, the June Pad Drive was a success! This semester we will be expanding our menstrual health and anti-FGM education and pad distribution to other schools in West Pokot. This is a big step in the fight to eliminate period poverty and keep girls in school!
