KEYANG TIPIN Skills Day Training Program

Welcome to the latest edition of the Keyang Tipin Community Newsletter! We're excited to share with you the latest updates, events, and stories from our vibrant community. On April 27th, our dedicated field team embarked on a journey to Sook, West Pokot, for a skills day training program. The facilitators taught the girls in the program valuable life skills, including how to make necklaces, bracelets, and keychains. These skills not only provide creative outlets but also empower the young girls with practical abilities they can implement in their future endeavors. We were delighted to welcome the MCA and the Chief of the area, who stopped by to support our initiative and even purchased some keychains. Their presence underscores the importance of community involvement and support for empowering our youth.

On May 29th, we'll be joining forces with UNICEF and the Ministry of Health in Chepnyal, West Pokot, to observe Menstrual Health Day. This important event aims to raise awareness about menstrual health and hygiene, and we're proud to be part of the initiative to ensure that all girls have access to proper menstrual hygiene management. On June 1st, Keyang Tipin will host a special event to receive donations of sanitary pads for the girls in our program. Menstrual hygiene is a critical aspect of girls' health and education, and your support can make a real difference in their lives. Join us in providing essential supplies and empowering our girls to stay healthy and confident.
